PRESS INVITATION
Less Talk, More Action
Public Opinion Survey Reveals New Evidence on Air Pollution
Members of the press are cordially invited to a press briefing organised by Civic Exchange at 2:00pm on Wednesday, 1 December 2010. At the press briefing, Civic Exchange will release findings of a new public opinion survey on air pollution, entitled “Less Talk, More Action”.
Commissioned by Civic Exchange, this survey was conducted by Professor Michael DeGolyer of the Hong Kong Transition Project to investigate recent attitudes of Hong Kong people, including professional drivers, on air pollution.
Compared to a similar survey conducted in 2008, this study shows that public is increasingly switching from talking about air pollution to taking action. New evidence also shows that the public would like the Government to take more action.
